Adem\u00e1s, ser\u00e1 el tercero m\u00e1s extenso de toda Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>La dif\u00edcil conexi\u00f3n que exist\u00eda entre los municipios de Giraldo y Ca\u00f1asgordas, en el departamento colombiano de Antioqu\u00eda, fue uno de los motivos principales que llevaron a tomar la decisi\u00f3n de construir el t\u00fanel. Su construcci\u00f3n lleva siendo estudiada desde el a\u00f1o 2002 y se espera que est\u00e9 operativo en el a\u00f1o 2022.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/tuneltoyo1-5.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"336\" alt=\"tuneltoyo1\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este t\u00fanel de casi 10 kil\u00f3metros de longitud forma parte de un proyecto de construcci\u00f3n que comprende un total de 39 km de v\u00edas en los que se incluyen otros 17 t\u00faneles y 33 puentes. El t\u00fanel del Toyo permitir\u00e1 reducir <strong>considerablemente el tiempo de viaje<\/strong> entre las diferentes regiones del pa\u00eds. Por ejemplo, el trayecto desde Medell\u00edn hasta Golfo de Urab\u00e1 se reducir\u00e1 en<strong> m\u00e1s de 6 horas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La construcci\u00f3n del nuevo t\u00fanel tendr\u00e1 una inversi\u00f3n de <strong>1,8 billones de pesos<\/strong>, que van a ser aportados por la Alcald\u00eda de Medell\u00edn, por la gobernaci\u00f3n de Antioqu\u00eda y por el Gobierno Nacional, y se estima que podr\u00eda generar unos<strong> 5.700 puestos de trabajo<\/strong> al a\u00f1o.
