Repasa con nosotros sus datos m\u00e1s caracter\u00edsticos a continuaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta colosal obra de ingenier\u00eda es la encargada de unir la capital gaditana con el municipio de Puerto Real, siendo la segunda superestructura que cruza la Bah\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bajo el dise\u00f1o de Javier Manterola, toda una instituci\u00f3n en el sector, sus <strong>3.092 metros de longitud<\/strong> total alcanzan una <strong>altura m\u00e1xima de 185 metros<\/strong>. Precisamente \u00e9sta \u00faltima es una de sus caracter\u00edsticas m\u00e1s asombrosas: el tablero, de 36,8 metros de anchura se sit\u00faa a 69 metros sobre la l\u00e1mina libre de agua, lo que lo significa que estamos ante el <strong>segundo g\u00e1libo m\u00e1s grande del mundo<\/strong> (superado en apenas 1 metro por el puente\u00a0del Canal de Suez).<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/Cadiz1-5.jpg\" alt=\"Cadiz1\" width=\"600\" height=\"376\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El otro gran dato destacable recae sobre el vano central de la estructura. \u00c9sta mide 540 metros de longitud, siendo <strong>el puente con mayor luz de Espa\u00f1a\u00a0<\/strong>(superando al Puente del Ingeniero Carlos Fern\u00e1ndez Casado sobre el Embalse de Barrios de Luna, en Le\u00f3n, con 440 metros) <strong>y el tercero de Europa<\/strong> en este aspecto.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Cadiz2-5.jpg\" alt=\"Cadiz2\" width=\"900\" height=\"228\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Todo ello, dividido en cuatro grandes tramos: dos viaductos que dan acceso a C\u00e1diz y a Puerto Real, un <strong>tramo desmontable<\/strong> de 150 metros de longitud, que podr\u00e1 ser utilizado en situaciones excepcionales en las que los buques necesiten un mayor g\u00e1libo, y un tramo atirantado de 1.180 metros, compuesto por 61 dovelas y 176 tirantes alojados en dos planos de atirantamiento.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Cadiz3-5.jpg\" alt=\"Cadiz3\" width=\"478\" height=\"600\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La complejidad de esta estructura es tal, que ha requerido de sistemas constructivos espec\u00edficos, como los <strong>carros de izado<\/strong> para el tablero, que se dise\u00f1aron expresamente para este puente.
