Este puente atirantado se ha convertido en la estructura equilibrada en voladizo m\u00e1s grande del mundo, con 644 metros de longitud.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La longitud total de la estructura ser\u00e1 <strong>de 2.700 metros, con vanos de casi 650 m<\/strong>, y contar\u00e1 con <strong>tres torres de unos 207 m de altura<\/strong>, aproximadamente. El puente tendr\u00e1 dos carriles de carretera por cada sentido de circulaci\u00f3n. La estructura atirantada tiene una anchura de unos 40 metros.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/puenteescocia4-5.jpg\" alt=\"puenteescocia4\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este puente atirantado es el de mayor elevaci\u00f3n de todo el Reino Unido. En su construcci\u00f3n se han empleado unas <strong>10.000 toneladas de acero<\/strong> y unas <strong>20.000 t de hormig\u00f3n<\/strong>, contando con m\u00e1s de<strong> 150 dovelas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Adem\u00e1s esta impresionante estructura se ha dise\u00f1ado para resistir las condiciones clim\u00e1ticas extremas de la zona. La<strong> estructura cuenta con unos 190 tirantes.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/1732706972_529_puenteescocia-9.jpg\" alt=\"puenteescocia\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"\/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La construcci\u00f3n del puente comenz\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2011 y se estima que pueda estar finalizado en mayo del a\u00f1o 2017.
