These four buildings are the tallest in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Torre_de_Cristal\"><\/span>Crystal Tower<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Crystal Tower is about <strong>250 meters<\/strong> It has 52 stories, making it the tallest building in Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/torrecristal-5.jpg\" alt=\"torrecristal\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This tower has a <strong>active facade<\/strong> which results in significant energy savings, as it minimizes heat exchange with the outside. In addition, it features a<strong> state-of-the-art electrical system<\/strong>. The building consumes approximately one-third of the energy that a building of this type would use in Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the top of the skyscraper, from elevation 210 to 250, there is a garden measuring about 600 square meters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Torre_Cepsa\"><\/span>Cepsa Tower<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The Cepsa Tower, which stands about<strong> 248 meters<\/strong>, is also known as the Foster Tower, since architect Norman Foster helped design the structure. Today, it is also known as the Bankia Tower.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tower has 45 floors and 5 basement levels, with a <strong>an area exceeding 109,000 square meters<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/torrecepsa-5.jpg\" alt=\"torrecepsa\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The structure features <strong>two reinforced concrete cores<\/strong> connected to each other at three points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Torre_PwC\"><\/span>PwC Tower<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The PwC Tower is <strong>236 meters<\/strong>, with 58 stories. Spanish architects such as Carlos Rubio Carvajal and Enrique \u00c1lvarez-Sala contributed to its design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The top of this skyscraper is equipped with <strong>three wind turbines<\/strong> which are capable of generating energy from the wind, which is used to power the building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/toorepwc-5.jpg\" alt=\"toorepwc\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PwC Tower is home to one of the most luxurious hotels in this city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Torre_Espacio\"><\/span>Espacio Tower<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Torre Espacio is about <strong>235 meters<\/strong>, with 57 floors spread across that height, plus 6 levels of parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">High-strength concrete was used in its construction, resulting in slimmer columns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/torrespacio-5.jpg\" alt=\"torrespacio\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The building has received the rating<strong> \u2018Excellent\u2019 on the BREEAM sustainability certificate<\/strong>, with lower energy consumption than other buildings with similar characteristics; it incorporates advanced technologies that enable water conservation and waste management, allowing for the separation, recycling, reuse, and responsible disposal of waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Estas cuatro torres forman un parque empresarial que se encuentran junto al Paseo de la Castellana, en Madrid, en la antigua Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid.
