Este puente, con su exclusivo dise\u00f1o, no interrumpe la navegaci\u00f3n de los barcos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/puentee-9.jpg\" alt=\"puentee\"\/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A la hora de realizar el dise\u00f1o del puente hab\u00eda que tener en cuenta una serie de requisitos, como no interrumpir la navegaci\u00f3n de los barcos, que no se perdieran las vistas del resto de puentes existentes en esta zona o no obstruir el muelle. Estos requisitos los cumpl\u00eda esta innovadora estructura basculante.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este puente est\u00e1 formado por dos arcos unidos entre s\u00ed por cables, contando con una maquinaria hidr\u00e1ulica, formada por <strong>ocho motores de unos 590 caballos de potencia<\/strong> que se encuentran en cada extremo de \u00e9ste, que hacen posible el movimiento basculante del puente, haciendo que \u00e9ste<strong> gire unos 40 grados<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1733147634_918_puentee1-5.jpg\" alt=\"puentee1\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El tablero del Puente del Milenio de Gateshead tiene un tablero <strong>de 126 metros de longitud y 8 m de anchura<\/strong>, con una zona peatonal y otra ciclista separadas. El material predominante en la estructura es el acero y se estima que el peso de esta supera las<strong> 800 toneladas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1733147634_302_puentee3-5.jpg\" alt=\"puentee3\" width=\"600\" height=\"404\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cuando el puente se encuentra<strong> abierto al tr\u00e1fico de barcos tiene un g\u00e1libo de unos 25 metros<\/strong> y cuando <strong>est\u00e1 cerrado \u00e9ste se reduce a los 1,5 m<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/1733147634_882_puentee4-5.jpg\" alt=\"puentee4\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Puente del Milenio de Gateshead fue inaugurado en el a\u00f1o 2001.
