El edificio fue dise\u00f1ado y construido para soportar grandes terremotos y los fuertes vientos de la zona.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Con una altura de casi <strong>510 metros<\/strong>, cuenta con un total de<strong> 106 plantas<\/strong>, 5 de ellas subterr\u00e1neas y que est\u00e1n destinadas a garajes y a una galer\u00eda comercial. Las<strong> 101 plantas restantes est\u00e1n construidas por encima del suelo<\/strong>, por eso recibe el nombre de Taipei 101.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/taipei101-7.jpg\" alt=\"taipei101\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este rascacielos es considerado<strong> uno de los m\u00e1s seguros del mundo<\/strong>, el edificio es capaz de <strong>aguantar terremotos de hasta 7 grados en la escala de Richter<\/strong> y de <strong>soportar los fuertes vientos de la zona<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s cuenta con \u00e1reas de emergencia, en las que las personas pueden protegerse en caso de incendio o si hubiese riesgo de sufrir un atentado terrorista.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/taipei1011-5.jpg\" alt=\"taipei1011\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"\/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Este edificio <strong>obtuvo el certificado LEED-EBOM Platinum<\/strong>, siendo capaz de evitar la emisi\u00f3n de casi 3.000 toneladas de di\u00f3xido de carbono al a\u00f1o. <strong>Sus ascensores alcanzan velocidades de 1.010 metros por minuto<\/strong> y tienen una forma que les permite realizar subidas y bajadas provocando el menor ruido posible.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/taipei1012-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" alt=\"taipei1012\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Su construcci\u00f3n, que tuvo una duraci\u00f3n aproximada de 5 a\u00f1os, comenz\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 1999.
