Esta gran obra de ingenier\u00eda civil, de la que podr\u00e1n beneficiarse m\u00e1s de 20 millones de personas, se inaugurar\u00e1 en el a\u00f1o 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/tunelsangotardo-7.jpg\" width=\"533\" height=\"400\" alt=\"tunelsangotardo\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El proyecto est\u00e1 formado por dos tubos de unos 10 metros de di\u00e1metro cada uno, con una v\u00eda por cada sentido. Un total de<strong> 1.800 personas<\/strong> han trabajado en la construcci\u00f3n de este t\u00fanel ferroviario, que ha tenido un <strong>presupuesto de 10.000 millones de euros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/tunelsangotardo2-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"437\" alt=\"tunelsangotardo2\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La velocidad m\u00e1xima de los trenes ser\u00e1 de<strong> 250 kil\u00f3metros por hora<\/strong>, pudiendo cruzar el t\u00fanel en s\u00f3lo 15 minutos, reduciendo considerablemente el tiempo de viaje, por ejemplo, el tiempo actual de viaje entre Mil\u00e1n y Z\u00farich es de cuatro horas, que quedar\u00e1n reducidas a tan solo dos horas y treinta minutos.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/tunelsangotardo1-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"479\" alt=\"tunelsangotardo1\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para su excavaci\u00f3n, que no fue f\u00e1cil, se utilizaron 4 tuneladoras y se extrajeron <strong>24 millones de toneladas de roca<\/strong>. En su excavaci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n se utilizaron explosivos y excavadoras, y para asegurar la estabilidad de algunos puntos complicados se inyect\u00f3 lechada de cemento.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Los trenes tendr\u00e1n la posibilidad de cambiar de t\u00fanel en dos estaciones multifunci\u00f3n, emplazadas en Sedrun y Faido, pudiendo utilizarse en situaciones de emergencia.
