Unir\u00e1n Kuwait con Muscat atravesando, entre otras, las ciudades de Doha, Abu Dhabi y Dub\u00e1i. Deber\u00e1n adquirirse 85 locomotoras, 80 coches de pasajeros y m\u00e1s de 500 vagones de mercanc\u00edas. Adem\u00e1s de la red general, cada pa\u00eds est\u00e1 invirtiendo en mejorar las infraestructuras ferroviarias a nivel local, principalmente Arabia Saudita, Om\u00e1n y Emiratos \u00c1rabes. El proyecto global, cuyo coste estimado ronda los 175 mil millones de euros, estar\u00e1 operativo en 2018.
