The goal is to reduce the environmental impact caused by society\u2019s water consumption and achieve a more efficient use of this resource, but what role does the construction industry play in all of this?<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 30px; font-weight: bold;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Calcular_huella_hidrica\"><\/span><span style=\"color: #b22b3b;\">Calculate Water Footprint<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>The water footprint is an indicator of freshwater<\/strong> \u201cfresh water\u201d that is consumed both directly and indirectly by producers or consumers. Stricter regulations and growing demand for sustainability are having a significant impact on the construction industry, and as a result, professionals in the sector must address the new challenges posed by green building.
