{"id":7225,"date":"2024-12-02T16:18:51","date_gmt":"2024-12-02T15:18:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/el-parque-eolico-penonome-el-mayor-de-america-central"},"modified":"2026-03-27T13:50:51","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T12:50:51","slug":"el-parque-eolico-penonome-el-mayor-de-america-central","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/en\/el-parque-eolico-penonome-el-mayor-de-america-central\/","title":{"rendered":"El Parque E\u00f3lico Penonom\u00e9, el mayor de Am\u00e9rica Central"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El parque e\u00f3lico Penonom\u00e9 se encuentra en la provincia de Cocl\u00e9, en Panam\u00e1, y es el primer parque e\u00f3lico con el que cuenta este pa\u00eds y, adem\u00e1s, el m\u00e1s grande de toda Am\u00e9rica Central, contando con una capacidad de 270 megavatios.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/parquepenonom-6.jpg\" width=\"570\" height=\"268\" alt=\"parquepenonom\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Gracias a este parque e\u00f3lico se lograr\u00e1 cubrir <strong>entre un 6 y un 7% del consumo total del pa\u00eds<\/strong>, generando energ\u00eda limpia suficiente para <strong>abastecer a m\u00e1s de 100.000 familias<\/strong> durante todo el a\u00f1o. Durante la construcci\u00f3n de este parque se ha contado con el trabajo de unas 500 personas.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El parque Penonom\u00e9 cuenta con un total de<strong> 106 torres con una altura de 90 metros<\/strong>, instaladas sobre una superficie aproximada de<strong> 19.000 hect\u00e1reas<\/strong>. Cada uno de los generadores dispone de tres palas de 52,5 metros de longitud cada una.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/parquepenonom1-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"499\" alt=\"parquepenonom1\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La construcci\u00f3n de este parque comenz\u00f3 en el a\u00f1o 2012 y ha necesitado una <strong>inversi\u00f3n de 564 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> para poder convertirse en realidad.
