El lugar elegido para su construcci\u00f3n ha sido una depresi\u00f3n de terreno (depresi\u00f3n de Dawodang).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/FAST1-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" alt=\"FAST1\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El nombre de este impresionante proyecto es <strong>FAST<\/strong>, de sus siglas en ingl\u00e9s, que significa: Telescopio de Apertura Esf\u00e9rica de 500 metros. Se espera que el radiotelescopio pueda estar terminado y comience a funcionar en septiembre de este a\u00f1o.
