El aire caliente es menos denso que el aire fr\u00edo, por lo que este tender\u00e1 a\u00a0subir hasta una altura aproximada de 10 km sobre la superficie, momento en el que se extender\u00e1 hacia el norte y hacia el sur,\u00a0las zonas m\u00e1s fr\u00edas. Esto se resume, en definitiva, en que el viento se genera por el calentamiento desigual sufrido por la Tierra, originando fen\u00f3menos\u00a0denominados de divergencia y convergencia que se traducen en cambios de presiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esta realidad cient\u00edfica ha sido aprovechada por el hombre durante miles de a\u00f1os, desde que los primeros barcos navegasen en Egipto aprovechando la fuerza del viento hace m\u00e1s de 4.500 a\u00f1os. As\u00ed, llegamos hasta nuestros d\u00edas, en los que la t\u00e9cnica existente detr\u00e1s de los grandes parques e\u00f3licos est\u00e1 desarrollada suficientemente como para convertirla en una de las <strong>fuentes de<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>energ\u00eda renovable m\u00e1s utilizadas en todo el mundo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ante la dificultad actual para encontrar zonas de terreno cuyas velocidades de viento sean \u00f3ptimas y que a\u00fan est\u00e9n por explotar, surge como soluci\u00f3n la explotaci\u00f3n de la <strong>energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica offshore<\/strong>, en la que, adem\u00e1s, se obtienen<strong> rendimientos un 20% superiores<\/strong> que en tierra firme.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/offshore-5.jpg\" alt=\"offshore\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Con ello, alcanzamos un hito verdaderamente relevante en este \u00e1mbito: <strong>la primera central e\u00f3lica marina flotante del mundo entra en funcionamiento<\/strong>. Este hecho se produce en aguas profundas, situadas a 25 kil\u00f3metros de las costas escocesas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante el pasado mes de octubre, los 5 (impresionantes) aerogeneradores de la planta&nbsp;<strong>Hywind Scotland<\/strong> han sido conectados a la red, generando energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica suficiente para abastecer a m\u00e1s de <strong>20.000 familias<\/strong>, gracias, en parte, a que cuenta con&nbsp;una <strong>altura superior a la de monumentos tan ic\u00f3nicos como la Estatua de la Libertad o el Big Ben<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Offshore1-5.png\" alt=\"Offshore1\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hasta ahora, las centrales e\u00f3licas marinas comerciales que actualmente operan, se han situado en enclaves cercanos a las costas, en aguas someras y con pilares clavados en el lecho marino, por lo que esta inauguraci\u00f3n con <strong>elementos flotantes<\/strong> supone todo un hito hist\u00f3rico.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Se abre as\u00ed una nueva forma de explotar este tipo de energ\u00eda renovable que espera crecer notablemente en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.&nbsp;Seg\u00fan el director de Asuntos P\u00fablicos de WindEurope,&nbsp;la capacidad instalada actualmente en Europa supera los 14 gigavatios (GMW) y <strong>prev\u00e9 un crecimiento constante hasta alcanzar los 25 GW en 2020<\/strong>; toda una oportunidad para la que debemos estar preparados.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Las regiones situadas alrededor del ecuador, a 0\u00ba de latitud, son calentadas por el sol con mayor incidencia que las\u00a0zonas del resto del globo terr\u00e1queo.
