La construcci\u00f3n de este acueducto sol\u00eda ubicarse en el \u00faltimo tercio del siglo I d.C.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta obra de ingenier\u00eda romana se encuentra situada en la ciudad de Segovia, en Espa\u00f1a, y fue construida para transportar el agua desde la sierra hasta esta ciudad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En las fosas de los pilares se han encontrado<strong> cer\u00e1micas de terra sigillata hisp\u00e1nica y un sestercio de Trajano<\/strong>, una antigua moneda romana, <strong>acu\u00f1ada entre los a\u00f1os 112 y 116.<\/strong> El Acueducto de Segovia, por lo tanto,<strong> corresponde al siglo II d.C.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/acueducto3-5.jpg\" alt=\"acueducto3\" width=\"600\" height=\"308\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante su construcci\u00f3n los romanos emplearon resistentes cimbras y andamios, utilizando tambi\u00e9n ruedas de elevaci\u00f3n para levantar los sillares que estaban a mayor altura.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Esta estructura estaba formada por unos <strong>166 arcos y unos 20.400 bloques de granito<\/strong>. El agua recorr\u00eda el acueducto a cielo abierto, excepto en un tramo donde el canal se encontraba enterrado.
