Este ser\u00eda el ic\u00f3nico escenario para albergar el que se consagrar\u00eda como uno de los mayores monumentos de la ingenier\u00eda mundial. Hablamos del puente de Salginatobel, obra del ingeniero Robert Maillart.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A\u00fana en una \u00fanica obra todos los calificativos est\u00e9ticos que un puente puede aceptar, su integraci\u00f3n con el medio refleja una pulcritud nunca antes vista en este tipo de infraestructuras. Y es que, no en vano, la ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers) lo declar\u00f3\u00a0<strong>International Historic Civil Engineering Landmark<\/strong> en 1991.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Estructuralmente, responde a un puente arco de tablero superior muy esbelto, de 132 metros de longitud. Es, quiz\u00e1s, el puente m\u00e1s destacado de los materializados con h<strong>ormig\u00f3n armado<\/strong>. Gran parte de su originalidad reside en la<strong> triarticulaci\u00f3n<\/strong> establecida mediante r\u00f3tulas en los estribos y en la clave del arco, lugar de encuentro de las dos semib\u00f3vedas lanzadas al vac\u00edo.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Salginatobel4-5.jpg\" alt=\"Salginatobel4\" width=\"600\" height=\"469\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La limpieza\u00a0de sus l\u00edneas est\u00e9ticas, junto con el silencio instaurado a su alrededor, hace de \u00e9ste un enclave \u00fanico donde el <strong>dinamismo<\/strong> de la estructura es palpable para el visitante.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Menci\u00f3n especial merece la <strong>cimbra de madera<\/strong> con la que se hizo posible la construcci\u00f3n del puente, una obra maestra eclipasada por la belleza del puente que sustent\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Salginatobel2-5.jpg\" alt=\"Salginatobel2\" width=\"600\" height=\"337\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Os dejamos con una frase del propio Maillart, donde podemos comprender el concepto de hormig\u00f3n armado que reflejan sus obras:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>\u00abEl hormig\u00f3n armado no crece como la madera, no nace de la laminaci\u00f3n como el acero, ni posee juntas como la siller\u00eda; sino que, materia vertida en moldes, podr\u00eda compararse con la fundici\u00f3n, cuyas formas particulares, nacidas de una larga experiencia, podr\u00edan ense\u00f1arnos mucho por su forma de pasar de uno a otro elemento constructivo de modo progresivo y continuo, evitando cualquier quiebro angular.
