Hoy en nuestro Blog os contamos c\u00f3mo realiza dicha tarea este simp\u00e1tico mecanismo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Sr. Trash Wheel, que incluso tiene un perfil oficial en <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mrtrashwheel\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a><\/span>, posee la caracter\u00edstica capacidad de recoger bolsas de pl\u00e1stico, envases de espuma de poliestireno, colillas de cigarrillos&#8230; que se encuentren flotando sobre la l\u00e1mina de agua. Su sencillo mecanismo de avance, una noria hidr\u00e1ulica,\u00a0<strong>est\u00e1 alimentado por paneles solares<\/strong>\u00a0tal y como muestra la siguiente imagen:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Comedor12-5.jpg\" alt=\"Comedor12\" width=\"480\" height=\"600\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">18 meses de prueba le han servido para eliminar la elevada cantidad de <strong>350 toneladas de basura<\/strong>. Este volumen incluye cerca de 200.000 botellas, 173.000 bolsas de pl\u00e1stico y 6,7 millones de colillas, adem\u00e1s de muchas otras sustancias de caracter incontable. Buena muestra de ello es esta imagen donde se puede observar c\u00f3mo queda el agua tras su paso:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Comedor6-5.jpg\" alt=\"Comedor6\" width=\"600\" height=\"313\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Su creador, el ingeniero John Kellett, busc\u00f3 la forma de dar soluci\u00f3n a la contaminaci\u00f3n del agua del Inner Harbor. Tras un prometedor primer prototipo, obtuvo el apoyo de la Asociaci\u00f3n del agua de Baltimore, una ONG que tiene como objetivo la transformaci\u00f3n de la zona en un destino agradable a trav\u00e9s de las leyes medioambientales. Gracias al refuerzo institucional, existen actualmente dos m\u00e1quinas en pleno funcionamiento.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Comedor4-5.jpg\" alt=\"Comedor4\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 1px solid #000000;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La noria, accionada por la corriente hidr\u00e1ulica y ayudada por la energ\u00eda solar, activa el movimiento de una cinta transportadora que conduce a los desechos hacia el interior de la m\u00e1quina. Esto se realiza gracias a las barreras flotantes existentes a los laterales.
