{"id":7508,"date":"2024-12-03T08:40:08","date_gmt":"2024-12-03T07:40:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/central-hidroelectrica-de-la-higuera"},"modified":"2026-03-27T13:49:22","modified_gmt":"2026-03-27T12:49:22","slug":"central-hidroelectrica-de-la-higuera","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/en\/central-hidroelectrica-de-la-higuera\/","title":{"rendered":"Central Hidroel\u00e9ctrica de La Higuera"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La Central Hidroel\u00e9ctrica de La Higuera se encuentra en el valle de Tinguiririca, al Sur de la capital de Chile, y utiliza el curso natural de los r\u00edos Tinguiririca y Azufre para obtener energ\u00eda empleando m\u00e9todos renovables, de tal forma que se pueda abastecer de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica a unos 450.000 hogares de forma limpia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/lahiguera2-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" alt=\"lahiguera2\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>Esta central hidroel\u00e9ctrica fue inaugurada en al a\u00f1o 2010, con una <strong>capacidad instalada de 155 megavatios<\/strong> y con una producci\u00f3n media de <strong>750 gigavatios hora cada a\u00f1o<\/strong>. El proyecto de esta central fue uno de los primeros de Chile en ser registrado para emitir bonos de carbono (Mecanismo de Desarrollo Limpio del Protocolo de Kioto).<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/lahiguera-8.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" alt=\"lahiguera\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante su construcci\u00f3n llego a contar con unos <strong>3.500 trabajadores<\/strong>, aproximadamente, y se emplearon m\u00e1s de <strong>100.000 metros c\u00fabicos de hormig\u00f3n<\/strong>. Gracias a la construcci\u00f3n de la central hidroel\u00e9ctrica de La Higuera se consigue <strong>abastecer de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica a unas 450.000 viviendas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/lahiguera1-5.jpg\" width=\"550\" height=\"820\" alt=\"lahiguera1\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Gracias a ella se ha conseguido compensar la creciente demanda energ\u00e9tica de Chile de una forma limpia y<strong> reduciendo las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero<\/strong>.
