Gracias a sus 33,9 kil\u00f3metros de longitud se ha convertido en el m\u00e1s largo de todo el planeta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Diquecoreasur-9.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" alt=\"Diquecoreasur\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La raz\u00f3n principal que motiv\u00f3 su construcci\u00f3n fue a\u00f1adir 400 kil\u00f3metros cuadrados m\u00e1s de superficie a la pen\u00ednsula coreana, pudiendo utilizar este espacio como una ciudad multiusos: agr\u00edcola, tur\u00edstico, industrial, residencial, etc.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Diquecoreasur4-5.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"353\" alt=\"Diquecoreasur4\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El proyecto consiste en encerrar el estuario de desembocadura de los r\u00edos Dongjin y Mangyeong, utilizando las islas existentes para crear un conjunto de presas. Ha demostrado el alto nivel de ingenier\u00eda de Corea del Sur ya que est\u00e1 construido en aguas profundas y con grandes corrientes, llegando en algunos puntos a trabajar a profundidades de 54 metros bajo el nivel del mar.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Diquecoreasur2-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"343\" alt=\"Diquecoreasur2\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la d\u00e9cada de los 70 hubo un primer planteamiento de la idea para asegurar la producci\u00f3n de arroz, que debido a las sequias pod\u00eda peligrar. Sin embargo no fue hasta el a\u00f1o 1991 cuando se iniciaron las obras. Casi dos d\u00e9cadas fueron necesarias para la construcci\u00f3n del megaproyecto, cuyas obras terminaron en 2010. El dique no fue incluido en el Libro Guiness de los R\u00e9cords hasta el a\u00f1o siguiente, 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la construcci\u00f3n trabajaron <strong>2,3 millones de operarios cada a\u00f1o<\/strong>, se emplearon <strong>123 millones de metros c\u00fabicos de tierra<\/strong>, y se invirtieron alrededor de <strong>20.000 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/strong> Se ejecutaron terraplenes de 36 metros de altura y unos 300m de anchura media, alcanzando en algunos casos los 535m.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Diquecoreasur3-5.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"290\" alt=\"Diquecoreasur3\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Durante todo el proceso constructivo se han utilizados m\u00e9todos de bajo impacto ambiental.
