Adem\u00e1s de la ampliaci\u00f3n del Canal de Panam\u00e1 y el comienzo de las obras del Canal de Nicaragua, se planea la construcci\u00f3n de un corredor seco en tierras guatemaltecas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/canal-guatemala-11.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"267\" alt=\"canal-guatemala\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Corredor Interoce\u00e1nico de Guatemala, <strong>valorado en 8.000 millones de euros<\/strong>, es una iniciativa que se plantea reducir el coste y tiempo de transporte de la ruta paname\u00f1a, adem\u00e1s de posicionarse como una alternativa a los buques que, a\u00fan despu\u00e9s de las obras de expansi\u00f3n del Canal de Panam\u00e1, no tendr\u00e1n posibilidad de atravesarlo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/canal-guatemala-4-7.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"267\" alt=\"canal-guatemala-4\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El corredor ser\u00e1 un canal seco de <strong>372 kil\u00f3metros de longitud<\/strong> con dos v\u00edas de ferrocarril, una carretera proyectada principalmente para transporte de carga, oleoductos, gasoductos, una red de generaci\u00f3n y distribuci\u00f3n de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica, y otra de fibra \u00f3ptica. En ambos m\u00e1rgenes se prev\u00e9 la construcci\u00f3n de dos puertos, los m\u00e1s grandes de Centroam\u00e9rica, capaces de recibir buques con cargas de m\u00e1s de 14.000 contenedores.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/canal-guatemala-0-7.jpg\" width=\"550\" height=\"760\" alt=\"canal-guatemala-0\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\"  \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El proyecto conseguir\u00e1 <strong>reducir hasta en un 30% el coste log\u00edstico<\/strong> de unir ambos oc\u00e9anos, y competir\u00e1 directamente con las conexiones ferroviarias que atraviesan los Estados Unidos y representan un<strong> 26% del intercambio comercial del mundo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se estima que las obras comiencen en 2016 y est\u00e9n listas en tres a\u00f1os.
