Their characteristics, uses, and functions are explained below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tipos_de_pozos_petroleros\"><\/span><strong>Types of Oil Wells<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An oil well is an engineering structure built to connect an oil reservoir to the surface through a borehole drilled with drill bits. To improve production efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relief wells. They help restore control in the event of an uncontrolled outflow of crude oil.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Injection wells. These are necessary to maintain reservoir pressure or to remove excess fluids.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Observation wells.
