Es uno de esos <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/en\/automatismos-electricos\/\">elementos el\u00e9ctricos<\/a> que siempre est\u00e1 presente, y no se le da la importancia que merece. Por eso, en esta ocasi\u00f3n ahondaremos m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de lo <strong>que es un balastro y c\u00f3mo funciona<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%C2%BFQue_funcion_tienen_los_balastros\"><\/span><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 funci\u00f3n tienen los balastros?<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Empezando por lo m\u00e1s fundamental, la funci\u00f3n de un balastro es <strong>regular el voltaje que recibe una l\u00e1mpara<\/strong>, encarg\u00e1ndose de suministrar la<strong> tensi\u00f3n y la corriente<\/strong> necesarias para un correcto funcionamiento. Son indispensables para el funcionamiento de tubos fluorescentes, l\u00e1mparas PL y otras l\u00e1mparas de descarga de gas, tambi\u00e9n algunas de tecnolog\u00eda LED, y por eso en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os han atravesado por importantes mejoras. Dividi\u00e9ndose en dos tipos de balastros:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Balastros_magneticos\"><\/span><strong>Balastros magn\u00e9ticos<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.structuralia.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/cFUd_6lh5OCrcZ9EBF4tFfaODiZ5S3Jc4mhwBqg5DkN05DDKcfEKImW_mPyj3xa79f_1I4i7-CD6f1geVjHwcHOl6SEJEJvLfPfd.png\" alt=\"Balastro magn\u00e9tico.weediid\" width=\"132\">Se elaboran con varios <strong>n\u00facleos compuestos de chapa de acero al silicio rodeados por bobinas de cobre o aluminio<\/strong>, lo que les permite transformar la potencia el\u00e9ctrica en adecuada para el funcionamiento de las l\u00e1mparas fluorescentes. Adicionalmente cuentan con <strong>un capacitor que corrige el factor de potencia<\/strong> para utilizar la energ\u00eda de forma eficiente, y son la opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mica del mercado.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Balastros_electronicos\"><\/span><strong>Balastros electr\u00f3nicos<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Utiliza <strong>componentes electr\u00f3nicos de estado s\u00f3lido<\/strong>, como semiconductores,&nbsp; para encender y regular las l\u00e1mparas en altas frecuencias, por lo general, superiores a 20 kHz, aunque suelen ser <strong>regulables<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n cuentan en su mayor\u00eda con ventiladores debido al calentamiento de los componentes electr\u00f3nicos, y pueden llegar a contar con un <strong>microprocesador <\/strong>para mayor control y niveles m\u00e1s avanzados de precisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Balastro_magnetico_vs_Balastro_electronico\"><\/span><strong>Balastro magn\u00e9tico vs Balastro electr\u00f3nico<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay que aclarar que a pesar de que a simple vista los <strong>balastros electr\u00f3nicos<\/strong> son m\u00e1s avanzados que los <strong>magn\u00e9ticos<\/strong>, ambos se siguen utilizando en paralelo debido a las distintas necesidades. Y una de las principales razones, es que la econom\u00eda y la facilidad de elaboraci\u00f3n de un <strong>balastro magn\u00e9tico<\/strong> lo sigue haciendo la opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s asequible para elementos de funcionamiento sencillo y de una gama media-baja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por otro lado, los <strong>balastros magn\u00e9ticos<\/strong> tienen el inconveniente de que por su composici\u00f3n generan vibraciones y ruido al funcionar, y un efecto de parpadeo al encender; cosa que no sucede con <strong>balastros electr\u00f3nicos<\/strong>. Sin mencionar que los <strong>balastros electr\u00f3nicos<\/strong> tienen dimensiones m\u00e1s reducidas, son m\u00e1s ligeros, operan a mayor frecuencia y prolongan mucho m\u00e1s la vida de la l\u00e1mpara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Componentes_de_un_balastro_electronico\"><\/span><strong>Componentes de un balastro electr\u00f3nico<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En la actualidad existen muchas opciones de balastros electr\u00f3nicos con mucha variedad de componentes. Pero por lo general, los componentes b\u00e1sicos de un balastro electr\u00f3nico son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>filtro EMI<\/strong>, encargado del bloqueo de interferencias electromagn\u00e9tica.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>rectificador<\/strong>,\u00a0 que convierte la energ\u00eda de corriente alterna a corriente cont\u00ednua.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PFC<\/strong>, un corrector para el factor de potencia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One <strong>salida resonante de medio puente<\/strong>, la cual convierte la corriente cont\u00ednua en un voltaje de onda cuadrada de alta frecuencia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Circuito de control<\/strong>, que como su nombre lo indica, controla el voltaje y la corriente que pasa a trav\u00e9s de la l\u00e1mpara respectivamente.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><\/em><em>Componentes de un balastro electr\u00f3nico. <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.balastro.net\/balastro-electronico\/\"><em>Balastro.net<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Parametros_de_eficiencia\"><\/span><strong>Par\u00e1metros de eficiencia<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estos son los par\u00e1metros que se utilizan para determinar o analizar&nbsp; la eficiencia de los balastros:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Factor de potencia<\/strong>: Se define como la raz\u00f3n entre potencia activa y reactiva (W y VA, respectivamente) que consume una carga el\u00e9ctrica. Se usan valores entre 0 y 1 para definirlo, siendo 1 la definici\u00f3n de un dispositivo eficiente, lo que quiere decir que el dispositivo aprovecha la mayor parte de la energ\u00eda que recibe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Valor de cresta<\/strong>: Est\u00e1, en cambio se define como la raz\u00f3n entre la demanda de corriente pico de un equipo (l\u00e1mpara), y la corriente media. No es un valor lineal, y la cresta m\u00e1s alta que se determina indicar\u00e1 el pico de corriente que puede soportar el dispositivo sin deteriorarse.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Distorsi\u00f3n arm\u00f3nica total o THD<\/strong>:\u00a0 es un par\u00e1metro que indica cu\u00e1nta distorsi\u00f3n causada por arm\u00f3nicos en la se\u00f1al, en base a la relaci\u00f3n entre dos magnitudes: el valor eficaz de residuo arm\u00f3nico o componentes arm\u00f3nicas respecto a la componente fundamental o limpia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La gran mayor\u00eda de las l\u00e1mparas que usamos en la actualidad requieren de \u00e9l, por eso es tan importante saber que es un balastro electr\u00f3nico.
