At its most recent meeting, Adif’s Board of Directors approved the call for bids for the maintenance services contract for the overhead contact line (OCL) facilities and associated systems on the Valladolid-León and Venta de Baños-Burgos sections, which are part of the North-Northwest High-Speed Corridor.
The tender budget for this maintenance, covering a 4-year period, is 6,888,288 euros (including VAT). The total length of the two sections covered by the tender is 264 kilometers.
The systems and components covered by this maintenance contract, all of which are newly constructed, include overhead contact lines, power supply systems for consumers, switch heating systems, and tunnel lighting systems.
Types of maintenance include preventive maintenance, reliability-based preventive maintenance, and scheduled preventive maintenance, among others.
