This house, built from fully recyclable concrete, is located in Tokyo, Japan. The original structure features cutouts at the corners and irregularly shaped windows along its entire facade, creating a building with a unique design.
In addition to this recyclable concrete, the following materials were also used in its construction: volcanic ash, which are easy to find in some areas in the south of this country. One of the advantages of this type of concrete over conventional concrete is its increased durability.
The building has four stories, has irregular windows along its entire facade y cuts in the corners, all designed specifically to create a a play of light and shadow inside. It also features 5-meter-high ceilings that make the space feel more spacious.
To make it more comfortable and ensure that the indoor temperature is always just right, it features a thermal circulation system.
The design of this house is by Japanese architecture firm Atelier Tekuto, which took more than two years to develop the project due to its complexity.
