How has it influenced your personal growth and your professional career?
I have gained knowledge in all structural aspects related to BIM methodology. Furthermore, it has also helped me take on projects that I was previously unable to handle.
What made you decide to join Structuralia?
I had been looking for a training program that would provide me with cutting-edge knowledge for some time. I looked around in Italy, but none of them met my requirements, so I decided to look in Spain until I came across the Structuralia website. There, I found what I was looking for, and their offerings related to BIM methodology and Lean Construction really won me over.
It's worth noting that this master's program combines theory with projects and introduces you to various software tools for applying the methodology. And that is precisely what led me to make this decision.
Have you been able to balance your studies with work?
In my case, it certainly was—in fact, I was working full-time while pursuing the Structuralia Master’s program. It’s all a matter of staying organized and following the platform’s schedule so you don’t have to spend more than an hour and a half or two hours a day on it. All in all, an average of 10 hours per week is enough to complete the master’s program without any problems.
What part did you find most helpful?
One of the most interesting modules in the program is related to the BIM implementation plan.
In the public sector, this methodology will soon become mandatory for civil engineering bids. How do you think this will affect the job market?
Yes, and in civil engineering, there’s high demand and a shortage of experts. In my opinion, someone with 600 hours of BIM training will be able to find specialized work, especially on linear projects.
Has the master's program helped you improve in your day-to-day work and find new projects?
Of course, it's been a way for me to specialize and stay up to date. I can say that right now I'm working specifically in BIM thanks to everything I've learned.
