In 2018, PHAROS officially entered the training sector, and it was unimaginable at the time just how revolutionary its impact would be. It succeeded in offering an innovative solution that provides ongoing training, with content updated annually and featuring active experts from each sector and field. In its first year, more than 8,000 students enrolled at PHAROS to experience this unique training model and take advantage of all its guarantees and benefits. According to the results published in the Business Barometer, Based on data from professionals who are actively undergoing training through PHAROS, we can highlight that more than 11.3% are receiving training in Soft Skills which complement a professional's technical skills by providing leadership, active listening, and decision-making abilities. If we focus on analyzing the specific skills within the “Soft Skills” category in which professionals have been trained, we can identify the following as being of greatest interest Assertive Communication, Effective Time Management and Professional Effectiveness, and Cooperation for Collaboration. Meanwhile, in the BIM category, the most important courses for engineers—and the ones in highest demand—are: REVIT Architecture, Linear Project. Civil 3D, BIM Terminology, y Project Management.
When breaking down the training programs of greatest interest within the electricity generation and transmission sector, the results show that courses in Introduction to Hydrogen, High-voltage substations, Design of Large-Scale Photovoltaic Plants, Photovoltaic Energy y Wind Energy are the most attractive ones.
More specifically, the 2023 Business Barometer also highlights the training programs most commonly taken by professionals in both Spain and Latin America. On the one hand, in Latin America as well as in Spain, there is high interest in both technical specialties and soft skills, specifically training in Power BI y Excel. It is widely known that in the Spanish region, professionals are receiving training in the generation of renewable energy sources such as: hydrogen, or Sustainable Development Goals In contrast, in Latin America, these fields are not among the most popular courses for professionals. Meanwhile, in Spain, professionals are actively pursuing training in Cybersecurity, in Latin America they do it in Microsoft Project Professional, at least as far as the 10 courses with the most training are concerned.
