This skyscraper, located at 600 Collins Street, has been approved for construction in the city of Melbourne, Australia. The building was designed by the architectural firm Zaha Hadid Architects.
This building will feature 178 meters high, where they will be distributed 54 plants, and is intended for various uses. The tower will have an area of about 70,000 square meters.
Inside this building, there are apartments, offices, and retail spaces, and It will use 50 % less energy than a conventional tower of this style, which is one of its strengths.
The building will feature high-performance glass, a smart lighting system, and a water reuse system, making it one of the most sustainable towers in Australia.
Thanks to the design of its facade, the building is able to shield itself from the sun's rays, which results in savings in the energy used to cool the tower. This building incorporates a a parking lot for electric vehicles and another for bicycles, which encourages the use of this non-polluting mode of transportation.
The architectural firm of Zaha Hadid, who passed away very recently, was responsible for designing the structure.
The investment required to build this tower will exceed $200 million.
